Unclassified specialists earn in Poland from 4,500 to 17,000 PLN

The salaries of unclassified specialists in Poland vary from low to high, depending on the profession. For example, carpenters, concrete mixers, and insulation installers earn two to three thousand PLN net per month. Similarly, unclassified specialists in computer networks, databases, and electricity earn from four to seven hundred PLN net per month. Compared to other countries in the OECD, Poland’s wage is relatively low. It is just below the average wage in the rest of the EU, which is about USD 33,604 per year. Moreover, there is very high competition on the labour market, so a high salary is guaranteed for experienced professionals. Nonetheless, salaries in Poland vary from 2,000 to 3,000 PLN per month, and the range is relatively small.

Engineers are one of the most in-demand professions on the planet

The United States alone has a 1.5 million-strong engineering workforce. While traditionally the most in-demand engineering fields were mechanical, industrial, and civil, the number has been shrinking in recent years, as information technology (IT) and automation have taken over heavy industry. IT and automation technologies are now part of everyday life, and engineers are increasingly in demand in fields that involve computer science and software development.
