Average salary

The average salary for factory worker jobs in South Korea will increase by about 18% over the next five years. At the current wage rate, factory workers will earn around W24,870,689 annually, or about $11.95 per hour. This figure will increase to approximately W30,603,213 by 2022.

In 2022, workers are expected to work an average of 40.4 hours per week, or 161.6 hours per month. This number is based on the fact that there are thirty days in a year.

Minimum wage

The minimum wage in South Korea will increase in 2022. It will be higher than it was last year, at 9,150 won per hour, or $7.91 USD, and will cover over 3.5 million workers. The new minimum wage will take effect in January 2022.
